This article, published by CNN on September 16,2011 talks about how the Mexican cartel’s, violence and drug has gone vital. The cartels is a group that have terrorized Mexico for many years and they also have been known for being extremely violent and have no mercy. On September 16, 2011 two bodies were found hanging from a bridge. One of the bodies was a woman who was tied from the feet and arms and was brutally injured. The second body was a male who was tied by the arms; one of the arms had its bone exposed. On top of the bridge, a poster had a message stating that if anyone was to talk nonsense of the cartel business through the World Wide Web, they will be hunted and killed. It is believed that both victims wrote in the Internet about the cartel. The Mexican’s government beliefs this could have been the Z cartel, a famous Mexican cartel, sending a message or the cartels are just scaring the society. Still no evidence of which of the two beliefs have been found.
Analysis:
The problem Mexico is facing is part of the theme named methodology. Methodology is generally a guideline for solving a problem, with specific components such as phases, tasks, methods, techniques and tools. Right know Mexico is being not only terrorized but also the people are being killed by a group of people named the drugs cartels. The drug cartels or drugs trafficking organizations fight each other for regional control and have existed for several years. They have become more powerful during the years and are known to be the ones who dominate the wholesale illicit drug market in the United States. As already mentioned, the article talks about two people who were horribly killed because they comment on internet about this group. These action shows that the cartels are don’t fear anything and that they are capable in doing whatever they have to do to punish all those people who are talking bad about them. This problem Mexico is facing can be easily compared to a lot of things that have happen on other nations. For example the cartels can be compared to any group in other nations that suddenly reveal and are capable of doing anything in order to achieve or gain what they are looking for or what they want. A problem like the one is facing Mexico is one that many nations have had but only that the situation in Mexico is getting worse, so Mexicans should organize themselves and do something in order to fight for their own protection and life.

ELA VS ESTADIDAD
Millones de personas sueñan con que su país sea libre y tenga la oportunidad de progresar al máximo sin tener que depender de absolutamente nadie ni nada. Lamentablemente la realidad es que no todos los países están capacitados para poder llevar a cabo ese sueño. Para los que piensan de forma distinta les planteó la siguiente pregunta ¿Acaso alguno de los países latinoamericanos ha logrado progresar más que nuestra isla? La respuesta a dicha pregunta es NO. Todo lo contrario, esos países tienen millones de deudas con EE.UU. Muchos alegan que nuestra isla puede progresar sola pero la realidad es que no, siempre vamos a necesitar una ayuda externa para poder desarrollarnos. Un ejemplo perfecto para apoyar este argumento es la situación actual del estado de Misisipi. Es el estado más pobre y atrasado de la Unión pero sin embargo, económicamente es tres veces más desarrollado que PR. lo que comprueba que si la isla fuera estado de la Unión estaría mejor económicamente.
La estadidad significa la absoluta participación en el proceso político de los Estados Unidos. Hoy día Puerto Rico no tiene ningún tipo de participación en el gobierno de la Unión pues realmente ser Estado Libre Asociado nos ha convertido en una segunda opción para los Estados Unidos, es decir somos considerado como minoría. . Ahora bien, quisiera formular está pregunta a los que apoyan el estado del ELA. ¿Cómo es posible que no queramos elegir al presidente que escoge a muchos de nuestros soldados puertorriqueños para combatir en la guerra?. Es impresionante como día tras día soldados puertorriqueños van a la guerra poniendo sus vidas en peligro y los cuales son escogidos por un presidente que los mismos puertorriqueños no tienen la oportunidad de elegir porque lamentablemente somos MINORIA. Lograr la estadidad en la isla significaría tener la oportunidad de poder participar en la elección del presidente y nos permitiría también tener mayor participación y poder político en el Congreso. Puerto Rico podrá defender sus intereses, evitando así la aprobación de medidas que puedan afectar a la isla ya que la realidad es que el Comisionado Residente tiene voz pero no tiene voto. La estadidad nos permitiría no solo tener algún tipo de participación sino también tener voto. Bajo la estadidad, tendríamos el derecho a participar en distribución de recursos federales. Sin la estadidad, Puerto Rico se dirige a un desastre económico-social. Esto se debe a que Puerto Rico no recibe los mismos beneficios económicos e incentivos que los demás estados. Por lo tanto, con la estadidad, tendremos el empuje económico que necesita nuestra economía para su desarrollo, mejorando de esta forma oportunidades de empleo, beneficios a los niños, educación para todos, vivienda, beneficios a la industria, comercio y muchas otras mas oportunidades.
Uno de los argumentos en contra de la estadidad es que perderíamos nuestra cultura. La realidad es que una cosa no se debe mezclar con la otra. La cultura y el estatus no deben de mezclarse porque son dos cosas totalmente diferentes. Puerto Rico puede convertirse en un estado y de todos modos seguir teniendo sus mismos principios y las mismas culturas. La cultura no puede ser impuesta ni condicionada por ningún gobierno, congreso o tribunal. Los que piensan que la cultura puertorriqueña puede perderse con la Estadidad son personas que ignoran hasta donde llegan sus derechos y que muestran una gran inseguridad de lo que somos y de nuestros modos de vida. Son gente que no tienen fe en nuestros modos de vida, nuestra cultura, y mucho menos en nuestra capacidad para protegerla. Muchos otros argumentan que Estados Unidos no ha mostrado ningún interés en tenernos como estado. Pienso que dicho argumento es totalmente falso porque realmente los que tenemos el deber de tomar esa iniciativa somos nosotros y no lo hemos hecho. Nosotros los puertorriqueños nunca hemos puesto la bola en la cancha, es decir nunca le hemos puesto presión a los americanos para que ver si tienen o no interés en que Puerto Rico sea un estado así que realmente eso de que a la Unión no le interesa la isla claramente se puede ver como una excusa por parte de los otros partidos. ¿Si tan seguros están de que no les interesamos a la unión entonces porque no votan por la estadidad? Si según ellos nunca va a pasar. La realidad es que el ELA nos trae más problemas a la isla pues es lo que nos lleva a no ser ni una cosa ni la otra. Ósea, no somos ni un estado ni somos independientes y por eso es que hay tantos problemas en nuestra isla.
Puerto Rico debe de convertirse en un estado pues no solo nos va a sacar del déficit económico sino que tendremos millones de ventajas. Nos queda más que claro que nuestra isla no puede echar hacia adelante sin tener la ayuda externa de los EE.UU. pero también queda aclarar que no es justo que solo por ser un Estado Libre Asociado no podamos tomar muchas de las decisiones que debemos de tener la oportunidad de tomar y que no traten como ciudadanos de minoría. Ya establecido mi punto creo que lo mejor para nuestra isla es la estadidad pues nos brinda participación, oportunidades y más que nada un progreso y desarrollo económico. Por último, quisiera que te preguntes a ti mismo lo siguiente: ¿Por qué los que tienen poder económico envían a sus hijos a estudiar a EE.UU. y los que no gozan de los mismo privilegios se tienen que conformar con lo que se ofrece en la isla? ¿Por qué familias con hijos con problemas de aprendizaje o algún tipo de impedimentos se mudan a los Estados Unidos buscando los beneficios que no tienen aquí? ¿Por qué negarle a tu familia un mejor futuro?
